Samuraidou
I don't know much about this game besides the fact that is JP region(obviously). It's quite slow and has an annoying static sound but besides that there are no font bugs(all text in japanese).Video is taken using screencast video recorder on an android tv stick(iMito MX 1) since my nexus 7 doesn't support that.

RE: Way of the Samurai Portable
Does this game really have EUR release ?
Cause I read there were 4 release of this game but all are Japanese, http://www.gamefaqs.com/psp/947080-samur...table/data Though there exist English fan-translation somewhere. Need game ID (ULES-xxxx or something) to be clear. Otherwise should be merged with JP Samurai Dou thread. |

Thanks for clearing this up. I guess Moderator can merge other jp samurai dou thread with this one. I just add comment in the other thread. |

RE: Samuraidou
I have some problem~. I play way of samurai with nice graphic and smooth in galaxy note 2(emu ver 0.9.1), but after I install 0.9.5, whenever I start new game(after select game mode .normal, hard etc.) or load game, the game froze. Even when I press player Vs cpu , it still froze. Its look like only the game menu can be play=_=. I try to install 0.9.1 back and It work like a charm. So now I think there is something wrong with 0.9.5 :/ . Hope you guy understand -.- I'm just gamer

RE: Samuraidou
Played a complete run with that first Samurai Dou Portable (the english patched version) up to one of the ending and observed no crash with 0.9.9.1 , it runs very well in performance too.
Only problem i see is some odd shadows on every characters' bodies, an example near the beginning of the game : h ttp://i.imgur.com/mAVmMXX.jpg But after checking some of the youtube videos of that game on ppsspp , it does not show this problem : h ttp://i.imgur.com/r9VKrsg.jpg As i'm using the default settings of PPSSPP , i don't know what is responsible of this ? any idea ? |

RE: Samuraidou
A little update about the shadow problems.
After giving a try to a version on the buildbot h ttp://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/ the latest one available on win32 at the time i write : ppsspp-v0.9.9.1-1208-gf7f664c-windows-x86 And testing the same game, it looks like there's no shadow problem anymore with it. As a comparison example scene with "stable" 0.9.9.1 : h ttp://i.imgur.com/mAVmMXX.jpg same scene but with "buildbot" 0.9.9.1-1208-gf7f664c-windows-x86 : h ttp://i.imgur.com/dWZ5S0l.jpg So looks like whatever was responsible in 0.9.9.1 has been fixed (as in "stable" 0.9.9.1 regardless of the graphic settings i changed, the bug was still there) , so if someone run into this shadow bug, trying the "buildbot" version should be helpful. |
