Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

I am running on a Windows computer with the following specs:
Intel P4 Hyper Threading 3.2Ghz with 3GB RAM
Nvidia GT240 PCIe video card

I am playing the World Poker Tour game and it plays too fast and the sounds is crackling.

Is there a way to fix this?
