Hello everyone ! I downloaded today PPSSPP on my Samsung Galaxy S4 but all the games I've tried are very lagging!! The games running with 10fps and very bad sound. What can I do ; ;

I guess its about the resolution, ppsspp has some problems with Full HD devices, turn on buffered rendering and ant-aliasing, and it will be ok, be sure to not have some speed killers like upscale graphics, if possible turn fastman. thats what i do and its very nice ( but not 100% as it should)

I have on Buffered rendering and antialiasing and upscale off, but it still lagging. I have seen some videos on youtube with users playing ppsspp on galaxy s4 with 40-60fps. Why the problem is only to me??

Well... Turn off buffered or turn on frameskipping

I have tried that but then it runs with 6fps!! Is it a bug and will be fixed with update?

well you clearly have something running in the background. or your device is so hot that the throttle quick in. (and some major throttle)

Hold the home button, and you will see the apps opened, drag to the side and it will be killed.

yes I doing that all the time.... I have open ppsspp with no other apps opened and it still lagging!!!

Did you try use Change CPU Clock? Take a look in this Guide

I'm also having problems with PPSSPP on my Galaxy S4 (korean Octa SHV-300S).
It has the Exynos CPU (1.6Ghz + 1.2Ghz) and PowerVR GPU.

Somehow my old Galaxy S3 (I9300) manages to run PPSSPP faster than my S4 with the same settings ...
While other Games / Emulators run better on my S4 than on my S3.
(Except for GTA Vice City, that runs terrible on the S4 compared to the S3)

Tried all kinds of settings with the newest builds and old builds on both devices, like low and high CPU Clocks on PPSSPP and frameskips etc.
The Galaxy S3 was always the faster device running PPSSPP.

Games that were tested:
Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection (Good Performance on S3, low to average on S4)
Tekken 6 (low performance on both S3 and S4, S3 slightly wins)
Little Big Planet (similar performance on S3 and S4)
FIFA 13 (pretty broken menus on both S3 and S4 but S3 wins)

From the list of games you tested, it's absolutely normal that Tekken 6 would have rubbish performance on both mobile devices. It kills every mobile device tested, none of them can sustain 60/60 speed, and even lower end PC's like mine struggle to run it without Frameskipping. I've have to set it to 1 to get fullspeed on my laptop, and every single other game runs stupidly fast. The God of War games are the only other games that kill my laptop as well.
