version 0.7.6 with new UI from 0.8, 0.9 versions

I use nokia 808, the last symbian phone, to play ppsspp. After trying ppsspp version from 0.7.5 all the way to 0.9.5. I find that 0.7.6 is the fastest version. But the UI of 0.7.6 can not be adjusted as it is done in higher versions.

So, can anyone, especially the porter 'xsacha', make a new version of 0.7.6 with new adjustable UI and layout?

There are too many changes involved to make UI adjustable.
Maybe we should concentrate on what part of 0.9 is making this slower for you.
Is it the new JIT changes? For example: If you run in interpreter in v0.7.6 and v0.9, which is faster?
Is it other settings?
Is it in fact the new UI?

Since there are too many changes involved to make UI adjustable, then we have to give it up :-)

Those games I play are:

Mahjong_Kakutou_Club_Zenkoku_Taisenban_JPN
Honkaku_Yotarida_Mahjong_JPN
Ultra_Puzzle_Bobble_JPN
Echochrome_EURO

All work well in 0.7.6 and the speed is good! The only thing I don't like is the UI.

All work in 0.9.0.5 and the speed is much slower, maybe too slow. The game 'Honkaku_Yotarida_Mahjong_JPN' will crash when hit start in main menu.

I use almost the same settings in both versions.

Just tried new 0.9.1.6. The speed is faster than 0.9.0.5 and a little slower than 0.7.6 but with new UI. Quiet happy about that, keep the good work, thanks a lot! :-)

Ok, great. Probably just some bugs in v0.9.0 which is why there is v0.9.1 now.

I bet it was the reporting bug we had in 0.9. Some games spam dozens of messages per second to the error log(and then spending time reporting it), so I can see why it'd slow down.
