when ever i play a game like yugioh tag force 4 / 5 the text seems to disappear

Try enabling buffered rendering but this looks like ppsspp is not loading the fonts(either because they don't exist or for some reason(UAC for example)ppsspp can't load them)

1.Are you starting the game from the exe or from command line
2.Did you tried running ppsspp as administrator
3.Did you tried placing ppsspp is some other drive(not the system drive)
4.Did you tried disabling UAC

Every yugi game is not fully supported yet, expect these kind of issues to pop up, also your gpu could be at fault too, for example ati cards are more bugged (aswell some integrated ones) then nvidia ones. Also, by looking at your screenshot you are using the official 0.8.1 which is outdated, download the latest build from here (look under "Automated PPSSPP Builds"); honestly, you would already know about this by using the search feature of the forum...
