Is anyone else missing background music in 8.1-564(Yes, I have the AT3+ plugin...) 64 bit builds(Windows)? Also, the Spike video no longer seems to play...
32 bit builds seem to be unaffected. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: Danganronpa Kibou no Gakuen ro Zetsubou no Koukousei (PSP The Best)
Hi everybody, I'm new here. Anyway, I've been playing this game and it was fine so far, up until chapter 3 (after class trial) where I suddenly couldn't pick any "option" with the cursor. Same thing happened with chapter 4, but works fine with JPCSP, but the latter doesn't run the game as good as PPSSPP.
I'm using PPSSPP v0.8.1-551-gdc400f. Windows 7 SP1 64 bits, Intel ® Core i5-3550 CPU @ 3.30 GHz, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650. Would be really grateful if anyone could help me ^^ Downloaded the latest build (v0.8.1-564-g6d5d531) and same issue -_-' Figured it out : click on Options then activate Read Framebuffers to Memory and it's back to normal. |

What, the Spike introduction video when you boot up the game? It plays just fine for me dax, using the same 64bit build:- BGM is also playing properly. Try restarting that computer again lol. Anyone else having trouble (i.e. PPSSPP crashing) whenever re-playing any chapter after completion?

Does it mean you can't select anything with your crosshair ? If so, You have to activate Read Framebuffers to Mem on options and/or Buffered Rendering. Also, I think you should set FramebuffersToMem & FramebuffersCPUConvert to true in the ppsspp.ini file you have. It'd be more helpful if you give more details. |

I don't have my android rooted so I cannot access the .ini file for that. I noticed the former setting was included in the emulator's settings, but the latter isn't included so it leads to a crash every time an investigation scene comes up.I'm searching through the source code and can't find where to fix this on my own. My knowledge of coding can't quite reach this level~ Could a dev do this? I'd love you forever. |

Erm..grab the latest development build/beta and put a check in Read Framebuffers to Memory? 8.1 didn't have that feature yet.

Ah... like I've said, that won't fix the problem. -w- Putting a check there only sets "FramebuffersToMem" to "True" in ppsspp.ini, but to truly fix this problem, "FramebuffersCPUConvert" (in ppsspp.ini) also needs to be set to "True" as well. Otherwise, PPSSPP crashes. On Windows (or other platforms than Android) this can just be done manually by editing ppsspp.ini. The problem with Android is, to access ppsspp.ini, it requires your phone to be rooted. I just recently received my Android phone, personally, so I would like to keep my warranty a bit longer. I'm only an entry-level programmer so I can't be 100% sure of my words, but I don't imagine that would be terribly difficult to fix. Sorry if I'm being annoying! |

RE: Danganronpa Kibou no Gakuen ro Zetsubou no Koukousei (PSP The Best)
Must be an AMD/Android thing, then..I've never once needed CPUConvert on, on my NVidia. It shouldn't be crashing at all, though(should be selecting the wrong objects if it's off, not crashing).
At any rate, it wouldn't be very difficult to add a checkbox for CPU Convert either. Update: done, just needs a merge(should happen tomorrow): https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/2851 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be.
