RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2 Playable
Will the game always need "Buffered Rendering" enabled in order to be played? Without it the screen is pitch black.

Some things, such as crystals, may appear or disappear anytime when I do a small move.

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2 Playable
The letters 'I', 'i' and 'l' are too narrow. If I use 1x render resolution they are not visible.
This is a screenshot from a real PSP: The game uses fonts from the folder flash0/font. There are areas where the body of the character and the enemies are not entirely visible. I cannot see the enemies when they are far, but they are visible when they jump. |

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2 Playable
You can fix the fonts with fonts ripped from a real PSP; the stock ones included with PPSSPP aren't that great. If you do, it looks like this:
You could also possibly get away with using font packs found on the 'net that replace the real PSP's stock fonts, if they're in PGF format. As for missing polygons/characters, there's not much you can do about that right now, as far as I know. Hopefully over time it'll be fixed. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2 Playable
Does anyone know if there's any fix to the positioning texture glitch?, I just can't beat the De Ragan because of those glitchy textures, he seems to get out of the map, when in videos he doesn't...

This needs a bump, since even in the most recent dev and official release, I still get this. Which even though it's "playable", it's made virtually unplayable since you can't see enemies half of the time. I really hope this is able to be fixed, as it's my favorite game of basically all time on any handheld. It's so close to perfect. xD |

RE: Phantasy Star Portable 2 Playable
It is a known bug, but it seems difficult to fix.
