Not that I don't want to fix it either, but this game is still on my backlog - without spoiling it, is the Options menu essential to gameplay?

If not, does it happen somewhere else in the game too? That might be helpful, I could see if there's anything in common about what the game does in those two areas.

As far as i remember, the options menu is not extremely vital, but it does have some useful options that you might've wanted to change to/from, and I think it also has the toggle for Eng/Jpn voices (the text is always english).

Both the title screen options and the ingame options froze for me.

Thanks, I always fast forwarded through the intro so never checked it there, that's pretty helpful. I was thinking it was something to do with switching/scheduling/who knows, but since it happens form the menu too it's more likely to be something it's preloading that isn't working right.

I have an issue loading a save in 8.0. The save was made on an actual PSP and transferred over. As far as I can tell, it actually does load the save but when it goes to load the game after that it freezes on the load screen. I can get in game and play just fine, and I can save and load in the emulator fine as well. It's this one save file that isn't working. The save file is done in chapter 4 ("Reclaim true love!") in the hub area. I'll attach my save file just in case. In the log, when it tries to load, it just gets thousands of lines like this every second:

It made a 140mb log file after just a few seconds. I have a Phenom II x4 945 and an AMD Radeon 6870. If you need anything else, let me know.

There's also occasional freeze problem when loading in-game save file

Both the in-game option and titlescreen option freezes
But please i wish i could go to the option and change the language-voice CANT STAND IT!!!!

The option screen is now working (since 0.8.1 - 1359).
