RE: Tekken 6
nVidia user here as well (GT 440), and while I can run Tekken 6 full speed (using an e5800, 3.2 ghz dual core, I get around 100+FPS during menus and 60+fps during fights when using unlimited speed), I experience the same short freezes that Gutterhulk is talking about. It almost always happens at the start of the fight, right around the time the first attack is thrown (like it was trying hard to load the sound effect or the fb effects.)

RE: Tekken 6
Hmm okay, I can only speak as an AMD/ATI user that doesn't get the short freezes when Hardware Transform is OFF, but generally poor performance all around with Hardware Transform ON.
Talking about the difference between 25-30 VPS (HW Transform ON) to 40-60 VPS (Hw Transform OFF). PPSSPP Modern Testbed:- Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:- Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz Windows 7 x64 SP1 |

RE: Tekken 6
This game does tons of very small draw calls, switching between different numbers of bones, and thus different shaders in hardware transform, the way PPSSPP works now. I guess AMD doesn't like shader switching very much.
It also switches the texture scaling for every draw call. There are a number of games that do things like this and we could detect them and use alternative approaches, but that's for the future. |

There is something wrong with collisions, look at those shaky Parkinson's Syndrome legs, I get the feeling it might affect more stuff than just that. Possibly a weird rounding method? 2. There are textures that their transparency doesn't get rendered as transparent, making objects look non-transparent on areas they should, like wooden fences, flowers etc. 3. Software Rendering makes the models have no light coordination system causing missing/buggy Gouraud/Phong shading and models ending up brighter than they should. (the missing/buggy Gouraud/Phong shading on SW rendering bug affects Tekken DR too) |

RE: Tekken 6 at 60 Fps on windows
Why link to some strange rar file?
Tekken runs 60fps on fast PCs on the latests official git builds. http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html#devbuilds Also, no need to create a new thread for this, there's already a Tekken 6 thread. |

RE: Tekken 6
My PC runs it with XBRZ x3 with and without Buffered Rendering on 58-60fps and I don't consider it a fast PC really.
The problem is ironing out so weirdness in the way the game is programmed to work which gets hidden on good setups. |

RE: Tekken 6
Only thing that left to fix is those annoying hitches when u hit special moves, or on some maps with lighting or special effects.
