RE: Gran Turismo
Took the plunge and tried it on my ancient rig in sig.

The most glaring issue is definitely the text one. Unreadable and repeating letters in the text means that unless you've memorized what each icon does (and you should, from your PSP), getting into the game modes is a matter of trial and error.

Performance wise, this seems to be amongst the heaviest on the CPU usage, up there with the God of War games and Tekken 6. VPS ranges from 35 - 60 on my machine, depending on the amount of geometry it has to render, and enabling debug statistics shows a whooping 7-8k flushes and 12k draw calls made at times. Game is severely CPU limited, choking a single core out of 2 cores, and my GPU is just relaxing in the game, only at about 30% utlization at 3x RR.

Frameskip CANNOT be used to help with performance in this game because of how it handles alternate frames; the game will just look motionless/slomo the moment you enable frameskip, which goes back to normal when you turn off frameskip again. This puts the game well out of mobile devices reach for now.

PPSSPP Modern Testbed:-
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 4.0 GHz
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 VRAM @ 1138/6500 Mhz
16 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

PPSSPP Ancient Testing Rig:-
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @ 2.8GHz
ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 1GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 843/882 MHz
8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Tekken Dark Resurection and Tekken 6 (and a couple others I can't remember right now) have that but as an issue, the image is virbrating exactly like in that image. Do you think you can give it a look?

Also from the site a quote: "Ever wondered how Sony got Gran Turismo looking so good on the PSP? As if the had anti Aliasing x 2? Which we know the PSP hardware cannot do."

False, 512x512 is something less than 2x SSAA, so it technicaly can antialiase, and SSAA is the best type of antialiasing.

RE: Gran Turismo
Even though I am using the Git build with this game (v0.7.6-1198-g3b07090), on the Windows x86 version, its not displaying correctly, all the cars are black or very dark, what settings did you guys use?

It doesn't seem to matter what settings I change always the same.

Now Update: v0.7.6-1214-g5335416 the game now crashes straight after the Logo's, no video's play or menu's appear.

RE: Gran Turismo
Darn, it's crashing now? Does the emulator crash or it just stays black?

Can you test a few revisions in between to see which caused it?

Unknown, I just retested it myself on ppsspp-v0.7.6-1214-g5335416-windows-x86.

Contrary to what The Phoenix mentioned, it does not crash on windows for my rig, and still goes ingame and into races. The intro videos still play with that wierd doubling down the middle.

Screenshot as proof:-

The Phoenix, please post a crash logfile or a screenshot to back up your claims. You won't be helping others troubleshoot the issue if you just make claims without the evidence to prove/disprove it. Also, without the knowledge of your PC system specifications, it's hard for us to know why exactly it'd crash on your rig.

RE: Gran Turismo
The Phoenix: it could be related to savedata, I suppose. You could try moving it to see.

RE: Gran Turismo
I`ve started GT on my ipad3, but it runs too slow - 14..17fps. Can smb tell the ways to improve the perfomance?

So all the symbols in the menus shows incorrectly, but for me it`s doesn`t matter.

Movies play back correctly now in 1348, but for some reason no sound plays. In-game sound seems to be fine.

RE: Gran Turismo
A little unrelated but that doubling on the video is similar to the doubling that occurs on GT3 on PCSX2.

Intro movie is fixed but there is a bit stuttering-pausing for one or half a second during some parts(can someone confirm this?)
Some bogus priority in game

RE: Gran Turismo
The graphics are almost like the Real Racing 3 for Android. But the graphics of RR3 are better, like PS3.

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

RE: Gran Turismo
Do you think it's possible to fix this game's speed? Or I'll have to buy another PC?

I'm really looking forward to be able to play this game!
