Gamepad for smartphone (iOS / Android)
So how many of you have, or plan to purchase a gamepad for you mobile device, to use in conjunction with PPSSPP and various other emulators?
I will be looking to buy the iControlpad2: YouTube Video: *most games were designed to play with real buttons, even some touch games need pads, like GTA mobile for better precision. |

RE: Gamepad for smartphone (iOS / Android)
I recently purchased the Ipega controller for iphone 5 and it works perfectly with ppsspp....soul calibur, burnout and 2d games because blutrol maps it as a digital pad for the moment.they might update blutrol so that it takes full advanytage of the analog sticks.

The beauty about this controller, is the fact that it will be compatible with all future gadgets, it's open source, and you can overlay keys on a touch based games. So it's as if your touching the screen without touching it lol... Great for street fighter volt etc

The best option for me is MOGA pro controller gamepad, but is a little bit expensive.

That Moga pro gamepad is pretty sick. Wish it was iPhone compatible too.

RE: Gamepad for smartphone (iOS / Android)
I wanted to buy a moga pro, but then I read shipping to Europe is more expensive than the controller itself.
for now I'll use my own Frankencontroller built using a ps3 controller, a cheap broken OTG cable, a short mini usb cable, and several Lego technic parts. I can easily take the controller out of the phone holder, it can work without the cables, and I can fold the holder onto the top of the controller making it easier to put in a bag and protecting the buttons from accidental presses. |

RE: Gamepad for smartphone (iOS / Android)
this forum needs some proper flash detection, I can't even see whether a post contains a video.
anyway: the gameklip is pretty much what I built out of lego, but mine is actually better. my otg cable + usb mini cable together are the same size as that mini to otg cable the guy showed in the video, and my frankenphone device folds onto the ps3 controller for storage/travel. and the holder for the phone is adjustable so I can use it without case, with case, and with an extended battery. |
