Tactics Ogre visual glitch 1.17.1
Since i updated to 1.17.1 version of ppsspp, i've been experiencing a visual glitch with Tactics Ogre LUCT, when there is a loading screen, usually its just a black screen, it appears a blinking square on the right bottom corner of the screen, usually in white color but sometimes other colors as well.
I tried changing some settings but nothing seemed to work, some settings just changed the color of the square.
This problem wasn't present on a previous version of the emulator, tested with 1.16.6.

Hey, I made an account just to reply to you lol, I've been fighting with the same issue at version v.1.19.3. I don't know if you've figured it out or not, but I just found the solution almost two years later so I thought I'd share. Some settings have been moved around. If you've updated to the latest as of the time I'm writing this version, what you need to do is go to SpeedHacks > Skip GPU readbacks > Copy to texture. The reason why you're having the issue is because previously the setting was called Simulate Block Transfer Effects which was by default on. When the setting was removed and replaced by Skip GPU readbacks, the default option became off. I'm sure there's some technical reasons behind the rename, or quite possibly, the setting itself does different things/functions differently, but it definitely is responsible for that black square in the bottom right corner during the battle prep transition screen in versions of PPSSPP of either setting being present. I'm telling you all this because you'll probably need to flip it back off for other games presumably, if you have updated to the latest version. Hope this helps!
