Issue with PPSSPP's Browse Menu

In a certain PC version of PPSSPP after 1.18, when I select "Browse" on my computer, the PPSSPP software freezes and becomes unresponsive. However, if I use the system's "Back" button to navigate to a folder, there are no issues. Could you please help me understand if this is a bug in the PPSSPP software?

Hm, that's really not expected. Could be a bug...

Could you narrow down when it started happening, by trying a few builds from https://www.ppsspp.org/devbuilds/ ?

I’ve run into something similar before, and testing with different dev builds really helped narrow it down. Sometimes clearing PPSSPP’s config files or reinstalling also resolves weird UI freezes — worth trying alongside Henrik’s suggestion.
