Tried the settings you mentioned and some other combinations, but videos do not work.

Do you mean it flickers black? Uh oh, sounds like my fault...

It is not a flickering. It is more of a black screen that randomly happens. The game pretty much freezes. I will check to see if it was fixed in later builds then edit this. That seemed to have been fixed. It seems to flicker now during a few scenes. Same issue on resource hogging of course but that is expected.

I'm loading up the game, i get the white screen with SQ enix popping up in the window but does not move past that screen like its locking up, any ideas how to get it to move, loaded up 2 diffrent ones both have same issue.

Also make sure you are using a git development build or the upcoming 0.7.5 release. It does not work in 0.7.

Is there a link to the right one that it will work on, tried a few diffrent builds and there all still doing the same thing just wont get passed the start up logo

It works with revision v0.7-640-g5828fe5, but only with major texture glitches and slowdowns. Tested on Windows.
Edit: If it seems to lock up just smash the START button. Works wonders for many games.

ok got the game to work with one of the other builds, but after the first fight the game goes black and does not recover from that any thoughts?

The black screen after the first battle is a big fat audio error. Just disable media engine and it works. (v0.7.5)
