Can't connect to adhoc server (error 110)

Me and my friends are using a zerotier server to play psp games together, the server works for them but I keep getting this error "can't connect to adhoc server (error 110)" most of the time,does anyone have a fix?
p.s:first thread here mods please let me know if I did anything wrong

Since socket error 110 on Linux/Android = Timed Out, either it's blocked port (may be by firewall on the one enabling the adhoc server), or the one who gets the error is putting the wrong IP (try to ping the Adhoc Server IP address to check whether it's reachable or not)

PS: leading zero on an IP could cause an issue (ie. 192.168.001.01), so make sure you don't have leading zero
