It also has some glitches like a kind of partial background flickering. When you say it's not full speed, do you mean the characters move slow? Yes, they move quite slowly, as in Metal Slug XX it feels like I'm playing at about 30 fps |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Why does the emulator crash when i try to load any game on N8. It only happens on v0.7.4.2. If i install an older version, then some games work but no games work on v0.7.4.2. Why is this?

I've noticed that v0.7.4 improved performance in some games (i.e: Bleach: Heat the Soul 7 is now playable in almost half speed using Nokia N8) and also brought speed hack to games that work with frameskip. However, few games that was working in previous versions don't work anymore (i.e: Disgaea: Afternoon Of Darkness don't goes even in-game. And it were playable in all versions since v0.6.2 I think.. Not playable anymore). |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
All right now i tried ff tactics the war of the lions and it goes to the 2nd logo and then there is no video but the sound is still there and i can still access the menu and i am getting atleast 60 fps with speed hack disabled, fast mem off, frame skipping off, Linear Filtering on and 2x Buffesed Rendering on. Hope the video will be shown in later versions but i do have some questions-
1. What is Mipmapping? 2. What is Vertex Cache? 3. What is Jit? 4. What is Hardware Transform? 5. When will the next version be released for Symbian? 6. On which device does PPSSPP work the best? 7. How the hell am i getting so much speed in ff tactics twotl? 8. The PsP can emulate Ps1 games and now Symbian can emulate the PsP. So cant a Ps1 emulator for Symbian be made. 9. Which version supports the most games? 10. Which phone supports the most games at full speed? Please someone answer these questions. Please! |

(04-14-2013 12:53 PM)KingPepper Wrote: Hi there, for the first 4 answers take a look here: http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=1757It has to be a device with a powerful GPU (like Symbian, but newer of course cause 700 is about 2 years old). CPU is unimportant. It only uses a single core and doesn't need to be that fast either. A quad-core will never help PPSSPP. The most that'll ever be used is dual-core to be honest. |

Maybe in future. 9. Version of what? PPSSPP? Well you'd hope the latest version. 10. The device with the best GPU is iPad 4. |
