Did something change about Cheats?
PPSSPP creates this directory
C:\Users\USER\Documents\PPSSPP\PSP\Cheats and places an .ini file in it, when a game is started while cheats are enabled. I'm trying to get Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep to run on 60 fps with a certain cheat as explained in the description of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeFeIS6l8ew I trust, that the name of the .ini file is automatically the ID of the game. However, I've seen people say, to put the cheat file into ppsspp/memstick/PSP/Cheats. When I do that, PPSSPP just creates another .ini file in C:\Users\USER\Documents\PPSSPP\PSP\Cheats and ignores the other one. My question is, did the directories for the cheat files change or am I doing something wrong? Keep in min that the discussions around that cheat is almost as old as the game itself. |

RE: Did something change about Cheats?
The only things that changed with cheats is support for PPSSPP specific CWCheats, currently allowing xinput vibration(windows) and post process shader control through game.
Location differs depending on system you have, PPSSPP access priviledges and your own choice to place memstick in different location. When PPSSPP doesn't have access to it's own folder or if you used installation on windows(which most people doesn't as it's faster to just extract new version and no install was ever needed) it will store memstick under "my documents" which is how you see it. You can change the location inside installed.txt file or just delete that file(inside PPSSPP folder) for it to use it's existing folder for memstick(assuming you run it with enough priviledges to have access to it's own folder, some locations on windows requires elevated priviledges which can be done by right clicking and "running as admin", but it's better in such case to just move PPSSPP to a standard user accessible folder instead). http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Did something change about Cheats?
The whole game runs at 60 fps, including cutscenes rendered with the game's engine.
