Latest version for Raspberry Pi?
I'm having a lot of trouble finding this out, so maybe I'm overlooking something simple, but I'm trying to update PPSSPP on my Raspberry Pi (3 B+). RetroArch explicitly downloads and installs 1.5.4, and I can't seem to find anything that says why it targets that version, or how to get it to install a newer version, or how to manually install a newer version.
Is there a way to install 1.7.x on the Raspberry Pi, and if so, how do I do it? Any help on this would be appreciated. |

RE: Latest version for Raspberry Pi?
To explain this simply: As of right now, only the Windows and Android versions are kept up-to-date by the lead developers. If you want one of the other versions (iOS, Raspberry Pi, MacOS, Linux, etc) to be up-to-date, you will have to compile it yourself using the source code found on the GitHub. I hope you understand. RE: Latest version for Raspberry Pi?
You can compile the latest git builds on Raspberry Pi without any issues. See these notes:
https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issue...-462163168 It may be faster if you cross compile using a laptop or desktop, but I don't recommend this unless you have Linux running on said desktop/laptop. -[Unknown] |
