RE: Build 1.6.3 immediately crash after opening
A bit more info would be nice.
What are you running it on? Specs? Operating System? Everything is Hitsuzen! |

RE: Build 1.6.3 immediately crash after opening
I'm able to confirm this that I'm having very same issue. Complete crash after opening v1.6.3
Computer Setup:
Event Viewer App Error: Faulting application name: PPSSPPWindows64.exe, version: 1.6.3.0, time stamp: 0x5b16d2a2 Faulting module name: amdvlk64.dll, version: 1.0.54.0, time stamp: 0x5a794f2b Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000000000000c2b1 Faulting process id: 0x2764 Faulting application start time: 0x01d4193aeb9376c0 Note: I tried older version like v1.5.4. It opened perfectly. |

RE: Build 1.6.3 immediately crash after opening
From the event log it looks like Vulkan could be acting up? Tho it is weird... Why AMD Vulkan implementation if you have Nvidia Geforce?
Try changing the renderer to OpenGL or DX 9 or 11. Everything is Hitsuzen! |

RE: Build 1.6.3 immediately crash after opening
I would change that option if I could get program to open in v1.6.3... Is there a file that I can change? Seems like Vulkan is a default option (I wonder if this is an error on code side?)
EDIT: After comparing between v1.5.4 and v1.6.3, in v1.6.3 directory (Memstick/SYSTEM) there are no files. In v1.5.4, there are files. I tried copying ppsspp.ini to v1.6.3. Still doesn't work. Seems like similar issue to this ticket: https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/8826. I still am unable to open the program at all. It just doesn't open at all. Event Viewer captured the moment it crashed before it opens. Hope this helps. |

RE: Build 1.6.3 immediately crash after opening
I have a feeling that it is more about something wrong/misconfigured with your PC and not with the emulator.
Did you change or add the video card recently? Everything is Hitsuzen! |

Yea, I added video card recently. I'm not quite sure how I misconfigured my PC or drivers. Everything is updated.

GeForce 1060 6GB is first video card I got. I used Ryzen 5 2400G (CPU+Graphics) for a while until I got my first video card (two days ago).

For some reason it is still trying to use your inbuilt GPU. Is it possible to disable the inbuilt GPU in the bios/bootup control panel? Or maybe try uninstalling the drivers for the inbuilt GPU. Everything is Hitsuzen! |
