RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
I have a big problem is that the game is okay, the problem is that the NVG does not show the silhouette or white shadow of the enemies and that the object is still this range 3

RE: Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker
Works fine here
So I would guess your problem is either due to: - using a device with really buggy graphics drivers, - enabling hack which disables stencil test or some other hack/setting which simply breaks stuff in this game. In the latter best just restore settings to default(option for that in system settings) and for the future maybe stop enabling options you don't understand. Some emulators, unfortunately including ppsspp do have a lots of game breaking settings, kept for very specific needs or by popular demand, activating options just because they exist is NOT recommended. If it's your device problem trying different graphics drivers could help, but there's probably not much else to try. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Title: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Genre: Action Region: U.S. Format: Iso Version: v1.4.2 (PPSSPP) Game ID: ULUS10509 OS: Windows 8.1 Compatability: Semi-Playable Notes: I've been playing this game recently, was feeling nostalgic. I finished 4 of the 5 Main OPS Questline, because I think I need to finish the Extra OPS to continue to 5. The problem with that though, is that I'm stuck on a never ending loading screen on a Boss battle and Fulton Recovery mission. In the first screenshot: Computer Specs: Windows 10 Home/Windows 10 Pro 4th Generation Intel® CoreTM i processors NVIDIA GeForce 920M 2G VRAM DDR3 Supports HDMI 1.4 for HD pictures The latest Bluetooth 4.0 technology 15.6” wide LED non-glare display Built-in 720P HD Webcam offering the best video call experience USB3.0 data transfer technology |

RE: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Crashes here could be caused by non default settings or maybe even buggy graphic drivers, but due to specific places those crashes happen to people reporting it, I would suspect corrupted/bad game copy and/or corrupted/bad install data.
I think [Unknown] fixed a problem with rewind feature affecting install data some time ago, so it's possible at least some people could corrupt their game by installing data while using this feature, knowing life using some broken/incomplete warez copy would be more common cause of such problems. Cheats are also possibility, this game moves stuff around memory quite a lot and many simple cheats made for it would likely be very unsafe. Anyway I tested all places reported crashing above and couldn't find any problems with default settings, this should be moved back to playable. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Just like with all other quick time events in this game you need to press the button at correct speed(neither too slow, neither too fast) and that might be a problem if you have no physical controller since touch screen controls sucks for this.
It's hard to see from the tiny/blurry screenshot, but looks like you're also using frameskipping to keep the game at full speed, unfortunately that might also cause input to be less responsive, so maybe disable frameskipping until you pass those doors, running the game at slower speed might on it's own make it easier. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

RE: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
Try default settings, reinstall the game without doing anything while it's happening or remove installation files completely, if neither of those helps, then while you might think the iso is correct, it's probably not.
Also if installation fails to install correct files aka if removing installation files helped, it's most likely your copy being corrupted/incomplete problem, such issues are typical for pirates since they commonly rip installation data from the disc to significantly decrease the file size, but in the past I think could possibly also happen to people using rewind feature or manually saving state during the installation. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |
