Question about the Android version and Chromecast

Recently, I was able to test the Android version of the PPSSPP emulator using the original generation Chromecast. While it works well with Mirror mode, I also noticed some input lag.(I hooked up my wired controller to the Android so I could play with a traditional controller.)

Now from what I heard, the new Chromcast 2 is suppose to be faster than the original. And I wondered if anyone here tested out the Android PPSSPP Emulator using the new Chromecast? And if so, how is the controller input compared to the original Chromcast?
