Uploaded avatar in forum shows [?] box

I found something that looks like a bug in the forum: I uploaded my avatar (being under the max size and res limit) and after I did, it just shows the missing image box. I tried adding it from a link too, but same result. Any help?

Same happened to me, I ended up searching on google images for a 100x100 image, then went on "show the original image" and copied the link there, which is the same I'm using right now.

it must be 100x100 no matter what? Mine is 100x78 and it should work since MAX size is 100x78, no minimum size

I'm not really sure, but maybe the image must have the same dimensions? Like 50x50 or 78x78, I'm not sure x.o

this is troubling me too,i have tried many time like resizing the images under 20kb,dimensioning the image to 100x100 but it not work,it hard to search original images 100x100 that i likes,is there a a way to fix this?

ps:you see there (shouldly)are image above my username but it just blank square right there.is there user out there know the trick?(using url also no good,im just upload from my laptop)

upload image on other site and use url worked for me^^

but i fix it by uploading the image on other site "imageshake"

i think it can solve the problem

I'll try uploading it to my photobucket then. I'll update this post if it works

That's kinda it, you need the direct link of the image, that's how it worked for me too.

haaaaa...after try and error,i got this right.yea it work using url and the size must be under 100x100,i dont know why it can't use the one from my laptop,but it work using url,anyways thank for your help and advice.
