I keep freezing on the tutorial when I try to build an "Emergency Fire Pit"...
I select it in the menu and then the emulator freezes...
I can hear some sped-up audio, but nothing happens on the screen...

I'm using v0.9.8-898-gf787a1c...

The game runs fine but only for short periods of time, then the game and emulator freeze and need restarting. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm using the default settings on THL 5000.
Using latest version, Android.

I love playing this sims castaway but it keeps on freezing everytime i play. I am using the gold version of the emulator. Can you please help me?

Is anybody reviewing this Forum at all? I mean if the game is playable with ppsspp why is the ios version of the emulator not up to date?

it seems that some user have crash issue that isnt the same as mine but to recount my experience with the game, yeah some crash are there but i notice it only when there is too many objects on the screen. because i made a save state right before the supposedly crash and after i reloaded i immediately fast traveled to a location i felt safe(Airplane Island -> Dark Cave) and order has been restored. so in conclusion, it might be an emulator problem. castaway tends to show lots of objects in a single map and normal psp can handle it normally, but an emulator might not have that same code the real psp uses to optimize memory allocation. yep. its a memory allocation problem between the internal memory the ppsspp have on upon runtime and the needed memory the game demands at that time. also im just gonna be offensive neil here but, you guys are all engrish impared citizens. you need to brush up on your english. its funny to read your posts.

seems like your not the only one boy. currently my save have a freeze point at a few big area i have currently unlocked and just now i got stuck at a loading screen. seems like an emulator issue huh. cant do much else. even my post doesnt help it because ive set my ppsspp to run at a high priority on my taskbar and nothing. no amount of twidling on the config will fix this. but im still exploring some stuff so dont lose hope.

I began to play Sims Castaway a few minutes and every time I meet a monkey, the emulator freezes. Does exist a way to fix this bug ?

P.S: I use the PC/Windows 10 version and I already try to use PPSSPP in compatibility mode of WIN XP.

Can you fix this please! At first it doesn't freeze but after 2-3 days. When im playing it and i walk it freeze. Damn please fix it because its an amazing and cool game. Im usinh v1.2.2 please fix it or tell us how to fixed by setting. It runs in full speed but just after 30sec it freeze and automatically exist
