[Solved] Weird pssp behavior

Dear all
I have not had any problem before with pssp and cant find a solution to the problem below:
-Pssp gold on Galaxy note 4 android 5.1.1 ( just upgraded to this)
-Game isos on my sd card
-Ipega 9025 controller paired with the ipega application (here no weird mapping of buttons)

Pssp exits the game and goes to option menu if I press circle (and the circle symbol seems constantly pressed on screen)
Pssp exits if I press circle on the main menu
Pssp never remembers where are my ROMs

Has anyone experienced this ?

was a problem witz the gamepad not
