- feels like system requirements for this game became higher, since now I'm barely handling 3x res, but played constant fullspeed with 5x 500 revisions ago
- most of radiostations are now screwed and do not play anything tried all possible combinations of sound settings

GTA LCS black screen
Hey, I tried to run GTA LCS on my Galaxy S5, and on the PPSSPP Web site it recommends, in order to improve performances, several things. One of them seems to work, and that is to change rendering mode to both buffered or unbuffered. When I choose "unbuffered" the sound is perfect and not disturbed or anything, but my screen goes black. And when I choose "buffered", the image is very slow, and so is the sound. Is there a possible fix to this?

You could try setting the game back to default to make sure you haven't enabled some of the speed hacks that may cause a black screen. Then toggle the buffered/unbuffered setting again to check. If that doesn't work, then it's because of the unbuffered rendering that you're getting a black screen which means you're stuck with the buffered mode.

Unbuffered rendering is a speed hack that is known to cause rendering issues. You're going to have to live with some frame skipping on that device.

RE: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
Of course you can Smile
Just buy the game and dump the UMD to an .iso file, some help can be found in our FAQ.

RE: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
Hey guys. I'm running the latest version of PPSSPP on mac with LCS. The game itself works fine, but there seems to be no audio in cutscenes. The radio, cars, guns, every other sounds are there, except in the cutscenes. Have any of you ran into this sort of a problem? P.S. VCS runs like a charm.

I'm also having this problem. I'm running PPSSPP v1.1.0 on Windows 8.1 64bits. With the exception of the cutscenes, apparently all the other sounds are working, including the radio. The cutscenes have no audio at all.
If someone could help, I would be really thankful.

RE: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
Guys, make sure to use the latest revision. That issue has been fixed eventually. At least v1.1.1-66-g5ebd7bf works perfectly for all 3 GTA games and the newer ones should too.

Thanks a lot Demetrius! I've downloaded the latest revision, and now the cutscenes are working fine! Big Grin

RE: Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
I have one common problem with not only gta Lcs but all the psps games I have including tekken 6, GTA (both parts) God of war(both parts), ben 10.Its that when I put my alternate speed to 0 (unlimited) it starts frameskipping equal to numeric value8.But at the same time frameskipping is tirned off. I've seen many videos in which the alternate speed =0 actually makes the game faster but doesn't starts frameskipping. Anyone knows why that's happening or is it happening to me only?please help.
