Let's clean up settings
PPSSPP has way too many options, some that are really quite useless, making it hard to find the important ones.
In this github issue, I have listed a bunch of options that could be removed or hidden: https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues/8171 If you really, really need one of these options, please speak up, either in this thread or on Github, and I'll consider keeping it. |

RE: Let's clean up settings
Please don't remove the hardware transform option, it helps speed up Fate Unlimited Codes in my crappy integrated intel graphics. The game's frame rate is way too sluggish without it while running the game in buffered rendering display.

RE: Let's clean up settings
It will be on always, if removed. There's no need for non-hardware transform anymore...

RE: Let's clean up settings
Agreed. I don't need to alter any of the mentioned options. Framelimiter to 60fps = always seems like a win in particular.

RE: Let's clean up settings
If it becomes "on" at all times on future releases, can I still have the option to turn it off? because in my case, I usually enable it to fix the laggy frame rate of Fate Unlimited Codes, but on the minus side, I get black screen in some areas in Final Fantasy Type 0 when hardware transform is enabled.
I have to disable hardware transform to temporarily fix the random area black screen issues in FFT0 in exchange for speed, in some instances when it is enabled, it fixes most speed issues while in D3D9 Buffered Rendering display but at the same time it also messes a few games graphical textures. RE: Let's clean up settings
more reasonable solution would be just to add option "advanced settings" and hide most stuff there
Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=12513 or http://www.x360ce.com |
