Anyone know know to run God Eater Burst at 60fps?
Hello, guys, I am a noob trying psp emulation. My first game to try to play is God Eater Burst, however I am tired of 30fps. Does anyone know how to force a glorious 60fps on God Eater Burst? I am running Japanese Version.

RE: Anyone know know to run God Eater Burst at 60fps?
Hello and nope, take it or run for your life as far as you can since probably around 90% if not more of psp games runs at glorious 30fps.
Some even at glorious 20 or glorious 15 fps. Also if you decrease emulated cpu frequency it might even run at glorious 2fps, glorious 60fps is somewhat rare because of putting_the_word_glorious_before_random_technical_terms reasons(and a bit of ocd;p). Eventually learn assembly and research how the game works, then change it, as that's totally possible. All games on all platforms that allow you to modify their code(which means all hacked consoles, mobiles and pc on which it's the easiest) can be patched to whatever fps you want even if 99% of people will cry around that it's impossible, just need time and the amount of it will differ between games from few seconds in easy ones to long hours or even days of work. Good luck. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=6594 - Custom PPSSPP Shaders! http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=3590&pid=117172#pid117172 - simple CE scripts to help creating CWCheats, https://github.com/LunaMoo/PPSSPP_workarounds - CWCheat workarounds. |

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Impact (ULES01537)
Quote:_C1 Force 60 FPS No speed fix so far, i've tried searching for 5 without luck. Anyway, it seems it broke some actions, like the dash in mid air, maybe synchronization problem. |

RE: [Discussion] 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
More cheats.
Ape Quest [USA], NPUG80061.ini Code: _S NPUG-80061 Death Jr. II - Root of Evil [USA], cheat v2.1, ULUS10157.ini Code: _S ULUS-10157 Code: _S ULES-00582 *Cheat Status: The cheat completely disables the FPS cap and forces the game to run at unlimited internal FPS (around 300+ or more), this causes BAD performance so as a fix I had to cap the game again but now at 60FPS. Because of this, the cheat has 2 versions: - "PPSSPP only" version: If you are going to play the game with an emulator, you must use this one to have a totally stable framerate. There are no graphical glitches with this version. - "PSP/Vita only" version: If you are going to play the game on real hardware and NOT with an emulator, you must use this one to avoid slowdowns to a fixed 30FPS that you would get using the emulator-only cheat. This versions displays minor graphical glitches, like small black pixels that sometimes can be seen on the lower half of the screen. These are totally game rendering related and are totally harmless to the console. When you enable one of these cheat versions, the other one won't work until you reboot the game because of the conditional lines, so be sure to choose the right one. (09-09-2015 02:24 AM)playiosgame123 Wrote: hello i want to play Gundam vs. Gundam NEXT PLUS on ios I don't have that game but according to some gameplay I saw from youtube, it already runs at 60FPS. Maybe your phone is not powerful enough to run it at 60FPS and if that's your case then a cheat wouldn't have helped you. Check your settings. - - - - - My time to talk about something. I know that in PPSSPP the PSP memory is allocated dynamically, but I really need some way to make it STATIC (like PCSX2 for example). It's pretty easy to crash a game by randomly changing a bunch of its memory values with Cheat Engine and if that happens I lose all my filtered results for all my random tests with the games. I currently use a Cheat Engine script posted somewhere by LunaMoo (which I have slightly modified, thanks) to handle address differences and search in the range of the PSP memory for the games I try, but as I said the real problem is that I lose all my filtered results and I have to start searching again and again. Also, using memory dumps is not efficient as I need to modify the game in real time and check the effects of my changes. In summary, what are my alternatives? or can someone change the way PPSSPP manage its memory mapping and make it use a static address? Even a dirty hack would work for me. goo.gl/kNOhTz : 60FPS master list, Mar. 2017 ; Reddit /u/Kabuto_Kun forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4799&pid=105128#pid105128 : Unlock FPS in PSP games ("easy method") forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4799&pid=123500#pid123500 : Permanently patch a PSP game with CW cheats. |

This needs to be done sooner or later imo, it should be requested as a feature. |

RE: [Discussion] 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
PPSSPP uses its memory tricks pretty heavily. I'm not really sure what you mean by static, but if the meaning is a big global array instead of dynamically allocated views, that's most likely not happening. Would have to redo many parts of PPSSPP and it would get a lot slower.
Just turn off fast memory to stop it from crashing? -[Unknown] |

RE: [Discussion] 60FPS patches for PSP games that run at 30FPS
Hey guys, I have issues when running monster hunter portable 2nd G with the 60 fps cheat. The game runs smooth in 60 fps but the hit box seems to be broken. I was trying to kill some anteka, then noticed some attack missed when the weapon clearly hit the enemy. Everything is back to normal when I disabled the cheat.
Anybody having this problem? |
