ppsspp new user help!!

greetings!

guys help me about ppsspp, i installed it in my very old laptop but keep on saying "PPSSPP has stopped working" then closed when i tried to play persona 3.

my laptop is XNOTE LM50a LG with:
Processor Speed: 1.6GHz
Graphics Processor : ATI Mobility Radeon 9700

im not really good at technical things, please help me T_T

What operating system? You may need to update your drivers.

oh forgot sorry, its windows 7 but the default os originally for my laptop is windows xp. The ATI driver is only for the windows xp...soo i have to switch on xp again??

Update your drivers for Windows 7. You'll want all updates to Windows 7 and update your video card drivers to the newest Windows 7 versions.

download directx 9 to your laptop and update the driver do not choose opengl in settings of ppsspp

sorry late reply, Alright I'll do that, but first i need to clean up cause there's a lot of virus here in my laptop. Thanks for the guidance fivefeet8 and opera2235 ^^
