I have the same problem.
I tried to read the issues section of the github repository of PPSSPP and it seems that the new version of the ffmpeg library was compiled using one of the latest OSX versions, so PPSSPP won't work on previous versions of the operating system until someone build and commits a backward compatible version.

thanks for the info man, well i'm using f... yosemite so that explains it all, any clues how i can get an older version, or an old build from ppsspp v9.7 or above?? i tried testing the sensitivity issue (MGS PO)
on windows, and the v1.0 works great, but the sentitivity doesn't work as it appears in the ppsspp v1.0 interface, the analog testing it works great, even in other games , but not for mgspo... although i haven't tested that many games, n_n''

never mind , find it, ppsspp v9.6 working smoothly on OSX 10.10.2

Hey guys I was wondering if you guys could solve a issue that is occurring to me.
I'm currently using ppsspp v1.0 with mac 10.10 Yosemite. Whenever I try to play monster hunter 3rd, every text in game disappears and are replaced by an underbar.
I tried substituting fonts and all that stuff, but it feels like ppsspp simply does not read any of it and just shows a blank output.

any thoughts on this issue?
