RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot
Slightly different, but I think I made a link to the post where I mentioned the steps for router-wlan Multiplayer.
If you didn't noticed it, click this: Page7-Post103 I'll edit the 1st post to make it visible. | Testing Rig: Windows10 PC | ->Proc: Intel Core i3 4130 ->GPU: Nvidia GTX660 GDDR5 1GB ->RAM: 8GB DDR3 |

After i try those step , it wouldn't freeze but it appear some word and say that the connection being cut off something like that.. Why this situation will happen ? will it be need my friend WLAN or get in to the online gathering hall at the same time ? Or my router IP address was not incorrect ? And my router IP address was quite short not long as the example given in the post 103 .... * Sorry for poor English .. |

RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot
1st-> Check all the boxes under "Networking" in System Settings.
2nd-> Make sure you're in the same network, and the Host player's IP is written in Adhoc Server (the one who started AdhocServer.apk if you're using the native build) 3rd->You can easily find your Phone's IPv4 Address (not the router's ip) in your Android Settings->Wifi->*Click your Wlan Name. <any of these format: 192.168.0.xxx / 192.168.1.xxx / 172.168.0.xxx / 172.168.1.xxx where xxx=number unique in every client> If you're using the Adhoc-Test Build, You don't have to start AdhocServer.apk, just check the "Enable Built-in AdhocServer" in the Settings. | Testing Rig: Windows10 PC | ->Proc: Intel Core i3 4130 ->GPU: Nvidia GTX660 GDDR5 1GB ->RAM: 8GB DDR3 |

Yes, Phone Settings.
Find WiFi Setting (Start and Connect to your Router) Click the Name of your Router. Your IP Address should be there. | Testing Rig: Windows10 PC | ->Proc: Intel Core i3 4130 ->GPU: Nvidia GTX660 GDDR5 1GB ->RAM: 8GB DDR3 |

RE: [Tutorial] Android-Host LocalMultiplayer using PortableWifiHotspot
I'm lost in all of this. I have a droid turbo, Verizon ellipsis, nexus 7, a netbook, and an ouya. Trying to connect at least two of these devices! Followed the instructions to run off android hotspot and off my router through the netbook. Only mhfu ever worked and we could play with each other but were fighting different monsters. It wasn't in sync. Trying to play dissidia 012 or dbz tag team. Any shooters work over ad hoc? Also, please help me! I don't know what im doing wrong to set up ad hoc.
