Is there anyone having this bug? I am experiencing crashes in block 5 of Tartarus. These crashes often happen after a few battle in that block, when exiting the post battle result. My current version is v 0.7.6-15-g9ad1c08.

Well then it's about time you get the latest build. Many mistakes were corrected and the game runs really nice. You just have to update your emulator to the newest build

I updated to the 'PPSSPP-v0.7.6-809-gb6b915b' build. I have to wait for like 5 minutes before the load screen comes up. The screen stays black after the Criware logo comes in. I tried going back to previous builds (the game was working very well on 'PPSSPP-v0.7.6-741-gdde85e5') same thing happens.

You have to skip the Intro. After the Logo the Intro will play but the Screen will stay black so just press any Button (Circle) and it should skip.

Cata I have the same issue. Pushing X/O did nothing when I used my controller or keyboard. It did how ever work when using the on screen controls. Just turn them on in the settings and push X to skip it.

It gets stuck on the black screen. It does not respond when I press the on screen controls. It neither responds to the Wiimote. I'm using a BB10 device. After the black screen, the game works nicely though. Around 30 fps in Tartarus and 25-30 during fights. Otherwise running at full speed.

To bypass black screen, make sure that "Buffered Rendering" and "Use Media Engine" are activated. Then press any button upon reaching the black screen, you'll be taken to the menu. After that deactivate BR and USE. To speed up during Tartarus, use Frame Skipping and it should be closer to the speed of a proper PSP.

The intro video doesn't work, you have to skip it. Turning on Buffered Rendering to skip the intro worked. Thanks!

I have updated to the latest build and the crashes still happen. A few battle in block 5 and crash.

Really? I'm already at the sixth block and nothing of the sort ever happened. Which settings are you on? During Tartarus exploration, the only ones I have activated are Vertex Cache and Frame Skipping.

Can you tell us which settings are your version of PPSSPP are activated? And which version it is, for that matter?
