EDIT: the problem has been issued in GitHub, so i guess i have to wait it to get fixed

I think i've found the problem...

when i play the game using an older PPSSPP build, which is v0.9.5 build 566, instead of crash, it give infinite loading. I manage to use log console because of this and it show like it did in the picture below

On another note, i saw that the character that you selected in the previous mission are still there when you try to start another mission (and you know it'll crash after loading for a while). Is this a game glitch or the emulator itself?

Are u using 1.00 or 1.10 iso?

Im using v1.00 since v1.10 makes the game unplayable for now

Thought I'd drop in to say update 1.2 will be released on the 21st. hopefully PPSSPP will be compatible, but judging from the previous updates it probably won't =/

but the constant crash and restart needs to fix first.

anyways i heard the update v1.2 will introduce a new Hannibal species called Yin-Yang Hannibal. Cant wait to see the final look of that Aragami

btw how do you actually do the updates? can you do it on a laptop or you need a real psp instead?

@zhillan update files/dlc's has to be decrypted on real psp to pass that playstation network popup, but your game will crash later because you have updated version anyway and the only one which does somehow work on ppsspp right now is the initial 1.00 release and even it does require restart(and reload from normal save, not savestate!) every single mission otherwise will crash as well. Pretty much lost case for now as even if you would downgrade your game to 1.00 and delete the dlc's/update files, the saves from updated version might not work properly on initial release.

@Raimoo I was interested in that some time ago as well, unfortunately the updates are encrypted with keys that were never leaked, so until someone get's those keys out to public the only way to update psp game on pc would be to get updated files from someone that did it through psp, in case of GE2 also the files in psp\game would have to be decrypted on psp as well for pretty much same reason - missing keys.

Oh and nice troll curraja, we all know we can find stuff through google in copyright free countries easily it also would explain why you know solution and will not share it. When you download stuff like that real psp still is used at some point between downloading official update and applying it to game and this cannot be avoided unless you have the key from somewhere or live longer than human life currently allows with very powerful super computer to brute force it. So no, it's not possible using just pc and checking google for sites that will host anything without question of it's legality is not really bothersome so no laziness involved, I know it might be hard to imagine, but some people just don't do that.

There are ways to make it udpate+DLC but lazy people never will get what they want i Got it updated with DLC no issues so far + 30% english patched don't ask i wont help

Thought I'd share an interesting finding.

If you get 1.01+ equipment with an updated ISO you can use them in the 1.00 ISO (although they aren't normally obtainable with the 1.00 ISO). I remember in God Eater Burst, that didn't work.

For example, I got 大鋸アダムブレイク in my 1.10 ISO :



(I really need to upgrade my buster arsenal >.>)

And gave it a test in レッド・バイキング in my 1.00 ISO to see if it worked (since the 1.01+ ISO will crash PPSSPP when loading any mission currently) :



I ended up with an SSS+ perfect (that screenshot was right before my last hit).
I felt like I could have done it faster, but speed wasn't what I was going for in this run.

No, the white coloured equipment icon means rank 11 (* rank in God Eater Burst). The particular weapon I was showing was a 1.10 DLC being used in the 1.00 ISO.

Additionally, for anyone whose curious, the 1.2 update has been released.
Changes :

* New exchange rate for lvl 4 Core towards items from Dyaus Pitha and Reigo Jinkihei
* New exchange rate for lvl 5 Core towards items from Dyaus Pitha, Reigo Jinkihei, Venus, Caligula, and Magatsu Kyuubi
* New episodes about Rindou's untold past which contains 5 missions
* The new Hannibal is called ハンニバル神速種 (lit "Hannibal Godspeed species")
* Collaboration item : Shinpachi costume from Gintama movie
* New Year costume for player and NPC (Gilbert, Ciel, Nana)
* 10 New Year edition missions
* 11 new parts, 6 new melee weapons, 1 new LSD (Link Support Device)
* 1 new update branch for each update 1.10's melee weapons
