ES3 is already supported as of 4.2.2 as long as the hardware and firmware's driver supports it

but jelly bean 4.3 will come by default with driver that support opengles3

Would porting the next version of android to older devices mean better graphics
performance or will OGL 3.0 be incompatible with their hardware?
