Good day. I want to say about problem with PPSSPP at this CPU and GPu (mtk6589 and PowerVr 544). In real tests 544 not much fainter that mali400 mp2 (mp4 sometimes) but PPSSPP an Lenovo A820 run much slower than at Xperia Play 1.7 ghz and, of course, more and more slower than, for example, 2-core Rockchip with Mali. At Tekken 5 with frameskip 1 I have only 19-22 vps, but at some devices like Sony Xperia Sola (2-core 1 ghz, Mali MP1) people have 30-35. I think that it could be some problems with optimization of emulator to this processor and gpu. But I could be wrong.

Maybe its because "PowerVr Gpu"s aren't stable yet according to most users using powervr.
so yup,bad choice of device. Powervr544 is a kickas** GPU when it comes to extreme gaming. but when comes to emulating using PPSSPP. It sucks like heck. lol )

Hi, I'm using mtk6577 pap4040 powervr sgx531 integrated gpu .. I'm having good speed soul calibur about 70% full speed.. mk unchained full speed with frameskipp 2
. wipeout pure full speed etc.. its an a9 cpu very quick to some of the others iv used.

I think that 6577 better in the emulation of psp. I had Newman NX with 6577. It's speed was like Xperia Play at 1.4-1.5 ghz. 6589 weaker...And it is very sad.

the emu will get a lot faster in future.. ya shouldn't have any problems runnin most games full speed.. Henrik knows what he's doin.. I have every faith

Too many people buy into the "large brand companies" I can say from experience chinese manufacturers are a lot cheaper and more powerfull.. iv had 2a8 cpus and an a5 cpu.. but a9 is very quick compared.

pap5000 imo as good as a galaxy note for gaming.. and as ppsspp runs off one core all the better.. anyone wanting a cheap powerfull hanset look at prestigio etc very good.

Why not try other games with your device. It might work better in other devices. All I know is that the emulator is friendly(lol) with Adreno GPUs more than anything.
