What do you mean when you say "rapid fire" ?

Try to remap your key via the "Options" menu >> "Controls".
If it doesn't work, you can try to use Xpadder, the tutorial I made can help you Smile

RE: Possible to remap rapid fire?
I mean "rapid fire" as in quickly repeating the same button and there isn't a option to either switch off or remap this function.

I don't think that this function is implemented in PPSSPP...

But it seems to me that you can do this with Xpadder Smile

RE: Possible to remap rapid fire?
Rapidfire has been added to PPSSPP some time ago.
https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/651

Xpadder has no use for me as i'm using a keyboard with PPSSPP at the moment..

I don't think you can remap the Shift button to another button for now...
You should ask [Unknown] about this request, maybe by PM ?

RE: Possible to remap rapid fire?
Well, some key configuration changes are being made right now so yes, probably possible.
