Black screen issue on MGS: Peace Walker (Greatest Hits Release)

Using PPSSPP 1.15.4, I encountered an issue with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (Greatest Release Hits) where the game would go into a black screen with sounds running in the background past the initial tutorial part of the game (MSF Training). It is during an in-game cutscene.

I was emulating the game on an Acer Swift 3 (Ryzen 5 4500U) laptop, running on the latest version of Windows 10. All drivers are also updated.

Firstly, ensure you have the latest PPSSPP version. Try changing emulation settings like the rendering backend (OpenGL, Vulkan, DirectX) or adjusting graphics settings. Sometimes, enabling "Simulate Block Transfer Effects" under Graphics settings can help.

Well may be the game cut while copying.Try recopying it.

Make sure that you have a clean and properly dumped ROM of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Corrupted or incomplete game files can cause issues. Additionally, double-check your PPSSPP settings, including graphics and audio settings, to ensure they are properly configured. Drift Boss

Try OpenGL instead of Directx 11. Worked like a charm on my Win 11 laptop.
