Recording video

I'm trying out the recording function, but from what I read, it's locked to 60 FPS whilst the game(s) is/are on 30 FPS, resulting in glitchy video and audio. Is there a way to configure that so I may record my gameplay while still playing comfortably?

Using a third-party recording software is out of the question, since my current PC is from the stone age and using anything else would have it lag beyond mortal comprehension.
