save data corrupted after firmware update
Hi everyone,
i have fat PSP 1000 I updated it from M33 3.71 to offical 6.60 I wanted to play yu gi oh tag force 6 now the game works but the save game of yu gi oh tag force 5 is corrupted. i have a copy of it my pc. please tell me how to fix that..... thank you all |

This is not strictly PPSSPP related, it's really a CFW issue.
The CFW (M33 3.71) forces the game to save in a way the game doesn't want to save normally, so that it works on older firmware. When that hack is gone, the save doesn't work. PPSSPP should be able to open savedata from any version, and will write savedata the way 6.60 would have. So that means, all you need to do is put your savedata and the game in PPSSPP, load the game, save the game, and then copy it back to your PSP. -[Unknown] |

thank you soooooo much for that !!! it works!! So now my game is working again but i have a new one: the save data was about yu gi oh tag force 4 and i am trying to make it recognized now with tag force 5 but it just doesnt recognized it at all... Do you know why? Thank you again!! |

I'm not sure. As long as it's in the normal place, it should in theory just work. I haven't ever played that particular game, though.
