Bluetooth gamepad's directional buttons not functioning in PPSSPP android

Hi everyone, hope you can help.

Lately, the directional buttons as well as the analog stick on my generic bluetooth gamepad (GEN GAME) do not function in PPSSPP android. All other keys work just fine.
I also noticed that in other apps, all the buttons are okay. The problem is only with PPSSPP.
