Just like EPSXE ps1 emulator has with good timing issues,sound also similar to a real ps1.I hope you can improve it more for this incoming version 1.5 .Also the latest version 1.4.2 has a choppy sounds and I hope dbz ttt will be fix when it comes using buffered rendering .

EPSXE uses actual bios of real PS1. PPSSPP does not use and never will use the actual PSP bios.

PPSSPP doesn't use bios to avoid copyright issues.

Choppy sound generally is due low emulation speed, when the game is running 100% the sound is pretty good (at least for most games).
