New Xbox One controller crashes

I got a new Xbox One Controller with a headphone port. It is now Bluetooth and shows up as a Bluetooth speaker. I'm running Windows 10 Anniversary Edition. While the controller is selected as the audio output device in Windows, PPSSPP crashes if you start emulation or a couple of seconds after entering the settings menu.

I have confirmed that if I set the audio output back to my normal speakers, everything works fine.

Does it only crash on PPSSPP or do other programs (specifically ones not originally made for Windows 8.1/10) also crash under these circumstances?
