Strange problem booting up PPSSPP
So I just downloaded this program today (Dunno why I didn't do so earlier) to play some old PSP games I have since my LCD display broke for my PSP and when I try to start up PPSSPP, it would display that dynamic logo PPSSPP "Created by yadayadayada" and then it just... freeze. I can use the buttons on the top (File, emu, debug) and when I just close it off, it would open up a small window saying

"Warning - Wait for EmuThread timed out" with a yes or no button. Clicking yes will just shut off the game but clicking no would do that "PPSSPP has stopped working".
Can someone explain whats going on here?

This happens on both the regular and the x64 version.

Currently on Wins 7 with a GTX-760 graphic card.

Does anything happen if you drag an iso onto the PPSSPPWindows64 program icon?

This should bypass the menu and just start the game directly.

From what I tried, it does nothing. The screen doesn't move and it just remains at the same position from when the logo frozed. When I close it, it will also give that same error message.
