Does auto frameskipping skips only up to 1 when needed?

If I start for example MediEvil Resurrection,right when I'm able to move Dan(beginning of the game),this is what frame skipping do

The game is running at:
Off - 55%
Auto - 75%
1 - 75%
2 -88%
3 - 94%
4 - 98%
5 - Above 100% and the other modes below even faster

If I enable FrameSkipUnthrottle and switch to unlimited speed,the game is running at 108%

Is it possible to be changed to work as on desmume...you set up to how many frames,the emulator will skip to give you more speed

yes, I also noticed that frameskip-auto acts like frameskip-1, moreover, I can be wrong but it seems to me that on PC it gives more speed
