Blank Screen when loading Games

I'm using PPSSPP version 0.9.1 for windows. Whenever I click load and select any ISO, the screen goes black and it shows "Press ESC to open the pause menu".

Nothing happens if I press ESC. The screen remain black if I do nothing. If I try closing the emulator normally, the screen goes white and it stops responding. I've tried using different builds, but the problem persists for all of them. I've used the default settings and did not download any plugin.

My Specs:
Microsoft XP Professional Service Pack 3
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 Ghtz Processor
4 GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT

I've tried loading-
Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core
Fate/Unlimited Codes

Both of them managed to load on my android tab, so I doubt it's a problem with the ISOs.

This is my first post on this forum, so I apologize if it's the wrong place to ask this. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for replying. I've tried multiple builds (even version 0.8.1). But still the problem persists.

Try use latest one, download from globe94 is link maybe that will help.

I tried using the latest one, but the games still don't load. Do I have to load any bios/plugin file to use PPSSPP?

Try updating your Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT drivers, and see if problems still persists.

I'm using the latest drivers but the screen goes black and the emulator stops responding when I try to load cube.elf

However, if I enable Software Rendering (Experimental) from the settings, I can go in-game. There's no background sound, but crisis core seems to work for a while.

Edit: If I enable Software Rendering, games are loadable but far from playable as the framerates drop right after the cutscenes end and the fights start.

Thanks for replying. Most games seem to be working after I changed graphics mode from "Buffered Rendering" to "Non-Buffered Rendering".
