Looks like some module loading problem. Are you loading from a real save when you play or from a savestate? We've had issues with savestates + modules.

latest version has fixed the dinner problem

Using the latest build (v0.9.6-689-g432a43f) I get through the dinner bug, but after I continue to play for awhile, after an event the screen turns black and freezes.

The first time this occurs I bypass this by copying the savedata and continues playing with v0.8.1, saves, then copies again to play it at the v0.9.6-689. It goes nicely until at one point I return to the HQ to rest and at the next morning as I'm about to leave the HQ, the program freezes my PC momentarily and a pop up appears, as shown in the attachment.

This freezing also followed by my PC suddenly shuts down, though it might just be because my PC is old and can't stand 'the shock'...
