PPSPP behaving with rapid fire if I hold down shift key?

I have my controller mapped for "Shift" on the keyboard to be the "fire" button. If I hold it down, it rapid fires. Strangely enough, I have "z" on the keyboard mapped to "jump", which does not behave with rapid fire, however, if I hold down shift AND hold down z, then both will act act rapid fire. How can I disable rapid fire entirely? I tried joining the Discord, but it did not allow me to post, even after I enabled all channels. Thank you
