Help-working on phone but slow on tablet?

Working on my galaxy s6 edge but on my galaxy tab a 10.1" it runs at 75-80 percent with noticeable lag. Ive tried everything. Any help i would appreciate

If the specs are correct, the Galaxy Tab is on a Tegra 2 SOC which has an ARM A9 CPU. It's going to be slower than the Galaxy S6 which has an A57 CPU.

The Tab A does not use a Tegra 2, but Samsung's naming of their tablets is insane.

The 7420 has 4 2.1 GHZ A-57 cores and 4 1.5 GHz A-53 cores along with a GPU that has 8 "shader cores" (though a slightly older chip
vs
the 7870 has 8 A53 cores 4 at 1.6 GHz and 4 at 1.0 GHz along with a newer GPU but it only has 2 "shader cores"

Basically the S6 edge has a faster processor and an older but much higher performance GPU while the Tab A has a slower processor and a newer but cut down GPU. So on the Tab A you will either need to reduce settings or live with lower performance on demanding titles.

But it was running smooth on my tablet for a while then suddenly no matter what i do it runs slow
