ppsspp 0.9.9.1 freeze

I faced a problem when using ppsspp 0.9.9.1 to play digimon adventure v4.1.. The game itself is able to load till to the main screen(new, load,install.game). After clicking on the new game button..ppsspp starts to freeze and my pc freezes as well..even alt+ctrl+delete won't budge. I have to force shutdown the pc. Anyone can help with this problem? Thank you.
