Im using PPSSPP v0.9-1-g750b486 x64 and although the game works 99% perfectly fine, there is a one problem.

Apart from some text missing in certain parts (such as in the last part of the jungle-level and various others) the game crashes at the end of the storymode - after all credits went by. The problem is that since it doesnt return to the main screen no progress is saved and the last automatic save brings you back to the bit with the final speech, rolf joining the club and credits rolling.. again.

Since its necessary to go back to the mainscreen to continue the game and having e.g. rolf as a playable character, this little bug prevents you from doing so.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Finkel

The missing text issue is a bug with the 0.9 release that all game share. To solve it all you have to do is update to the official 0.9.1 release or any build newer than that, the latest being 0.9.1-271. Updating to the latest version may also fix your crashing problem.

Hey there,

Thanks for the tip. I just updated to 0.9.1 and tried to run the game again. Unfortunately its still the same after the endcredits , the game just crashes (black screen).

Anyway, im sure in future releases, sooner or later, this should be also fixed .. apart from that the game is working perfectly fine.

Thanks,
Finkel

Hello,

I dont have much of a clue about debugging but I attached a screenshot of the debug console right after the credits of Hot Shots Tennis - the moment when it crashes.

I guess the red lines at the end cause the crash ... any idea if there is a way around it in the current PPSSPP releases? Any particular settings?

Thanks,
Finkel

@Finkelstein
I'm quite sure that the red line is indeed the culprit, UNIMPL probably just means "unimplemented".
The most reliable way to get this to the attention of the developers is to make a account at GitHub and report this issue here:
https://github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/issues?state=open

This will make sure that one of them will notice it.
Can't say how fast it will be fixed, though. Sometimes it's days, sometimes months.

This game works fine for me, running as 30 fps. But I found some graphics issue in some court. Everything was messed up as in attachment below. I have to turn hardware tranform off to get it fixed. But when I turn hardware transform off. It runs so slowly at 12 fps. Please help me fix thanks.

Hi again,

If you are using the Windows version, which backend are you using IE: OpenGL or DirectX.

I used OpenGL, and it wouldn't start up even, black screen, until I deleted my savedata, then worked fine after that, showing full screen graphics. Huh

Hope that helped. Cool

Hi there,

I used PPSSPP v1.0.1-104-g3e272e4

I tried this game on my Android tablet & didn't see many problems, apart from a black square around the ball, while playing on court, couldn't see any other problems.
I used Non-buffered rendering, which works well, allowing a faster gameplay. Cool
