Saving Games
I may just be a moron, but upon looking through the guides on the main forum I can't find a way to allocate hard drive space to the emulator. Ergo, it won't let me save, telling me that there is insufficient free space. Nor will it let me save states.
I am running the most recent version of PPSSPP, and I am using Windows 7 64bit. Can anyone help a noob out? |

RE: Saving Games
Don't run PPSSPP from Program Files/Program Files (x86)/places where you have no write permissions to?
If you absolutely must run it from such places, run it as administrator, but I highly discourage this. If that's not the cause, then we'll need a few more details: Do you have free space on the drive you're running the emulator on? Basic question, but still good to know. 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. I've got it running from a folder on my desktop, so I'd hope that wouldn't be an issue. Running as admin didn't work either. And yes, I've got nearly 50 gigs available on that drive. |

RE: Saving Games
Hm..what game(s) are you trying to play, then?
Does it help to run the emulator from a different place, say C:\Games(or whatever you have your Windows main drive as)? 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. RE: Saving Games
Not pictured, me pressing 'x' repeatedly. In any case, yeah, I am playing Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together And I suppose I can try running the emulator from a different location. And.. now it saved state. Well fml. Apparently I had to run it from /games. Sighhh. Thanks for the help! |

RE: Saving Games
That's weird that you can't save on your desktop, btw. I did a quick test and didn't seem to have a problem saving after the intro battle..ah well. Enjoy the emulator.
